It starts from patient intake, review by physician, nurse and scheduling a case, day of surgery activities, discharge management and readmission prevention. System generated recommendations is the core strength of this product and that is the focal point for integrations with other systems.

Client has founded a team of independent, board-certified physicians. Their mission was to enable patients and physicians to achieve the highest quality preoperative care and to improve surgical outcomes.
At Hospitals diverse EMR systems are used to collect the data. Challenge in collaboration with these systems to get the data without compromising the performance.
VATSA and client jointly worked on this product. Both the companies formed a joint team to understand the product scope, defining priorities and roadmap. Development was done by us using Agile methodology with each sprint of 2 weeks.
As healthcare becomes increasingly complex, Client provides a service that simplifies the communication between patients and the multiple physicians and hospital staff that they will encounter throughout any surgical experience.
This software integrates various electronic health records and uses that information to deliver evidence-based preoperative recommendations. These recommendations can significantly improve postoperative outcomes, decrease case delays and cancellations, and save money by reducing wasteful spending. It also provides the means for a seamless transfer of patient data between parties, eliminating the need for frustrating, expensive, and repetitive patient interviews.
This solution empowers patients with information. It provides evidence-based recommendations that may decrease the incidence of postoperative complications like heart attacks, pneumonia, and wound infections. This software helps ensure all necessary tests and consults have been performed. This helps avoid costly case delays and cancellations.
Client is currently integrating with perioperative EHR systems. It provides a web portal for patients to enter their data from the comfort of their home as well as the ability to capture this information directly from the physician office. This provides the means for a seamless transfer of patient data between parties. Application imitates the need for frustrating and costly, repetitive patient interviews. Application saves valuable time on nursing interviews.
